The Family

In a

Museum

The story of a family of taxidermists in Georgian London whose home was also a Museum. Growing up in a house containing over 2000 exhibits of stuffed animals and birds. Imagine a 16foot serpent draped down the bannisters and a cassowary and a zebra standing guard at the front door. This is also the tale of a business grown to prosperity over fifty years and ending in tragedy. The work they did was so good that there are still examples in British museums two hundred years later. See full colour illustrations of a leopard as well as British birds preserved by this remarkable family.
